Just chiming in... Trying to get a date with Claire. ;)
@Tokanya PANIC
Do pin this to your playlist~ love this
Burnt Brussels spouts>>>>>>>
Poor Molly how rude to just leave her there with no explanation at all
Claire is such a babe.
This is green bean casserole erasure. Also if we are talking about the "perfect thanksgiving". I hate both squash and brussel sprouts so IDK... watching this after the fried rice stuffing episode... I don't want to be at this Thanksgiving table.
used to think Claire was a bottom. she’s definitely a top after this vid
I think next time if the BA video editors put more of the discussion, it would be more beneficial to us. We would have more takeaways of what to do with our own dishes to fit our preferences better.
Matching aprons so cute!!! 25:52
Claire has become a little tiresome. There! I said it!
I'll wait and see, but i hope they put mango in the squash salad, and use a vinaigrette dressing Edit: well that wasn't really a salad lol, for Brussel sprouts I'd put in a pan whole x on the bottom with the bottom covered in water and about 4 cloves of minced garlic maybe a shallot or two, lid at medium heat....when the water is gone about 12 to 15m add in bit of butter and olive oil and sauté until a nice golden brown.
I hope Molly didnt feel offended.
Pls no not that intro I’m not ready to see Claire cry
I think the problem with this making Thanksgiving concept is anything that does not fit with people’s traditions seems to be off. I love that I am being challenged with my concept of Thanksgiving. I love the introduction of things I would not normally have for Thanksgiving. I think it is really hard coming up with a “perfect” Thanksgiving because it means so many different things to different people.
We made the whole 9-yards of Bon Apetite Thanksgiving 2019 and wow! It was super great. I will never roast a whole turkey again... but seriously, the Brussel sprouts were so good, I could have just served them! EXCELLENT!
I accidentally played this instead of the music I was listening to and Christina's voice reminds me a lot of Amanda Palmer's if anyone knows her
I still cannot believe they didn’t halve the Brussels sprouts
I've ALWAYS halved Brussels sprouts because I usually buy the big ones. But I made this recipe using the smaller size like they recommended and they were still nice and crispy despite not being halved. The thing I like best about halving them is all the loose leave that fall off and get so perfectly crispy when roasting.
I love Claire and I love Christina with her. This was such a cute episode!
The way it's edited makes it seem like Molly was kinda hurt and felt they were laughing at her and that she wasn't in on a joke
Somehow people are just catching on that claire is just like this? In many videos she has a quality about her where she values some people’s opinions more than others...Low key exclusionary high key bossing people around. Can’t forget that she’s the “star” of BA now, maybe it went to her head?
I never ever EVER thought I would say that but this video need 80% less Claire. She is way to oppressiv and can't take any advice/idea/direction then her own. It really makes me sad to see how petty she acts here :( Every other word is "no" "I don't think so" or some other rejections of Christina.
Drink every time Claire's left earring on Day 2 makes it look like she has a WICKED DEFORMED EAR LOBE and FREAKS YOU OUT. 🤮 😂
Oh yeah 898 squash!?! Yeah of course I have 898 at my local grocery store, no problem
I made this with 898's, honeynut, and delicatta. All worked out well. The 898 tasted best (more sweet), but I actually liked the appearance of the delicatta best. Today I'm making for Thanksgiving using "carnival squash" since I couldn't find anything else. 🤷🏻♂️
claire: “I think we make a good team” christina: “yeah, claire dictates and I follow”
Molly looked so disrespected lol
Christina: "well, unlike you, I am..." me: "dedicated to the testing of each leafy vegetable for the salad" Christina: *hungry*
Roast brussel sprouts with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, then toss with honey, some herbage, salt, pepper and ....done!
Molly's was hella offended lmao
Like every video has a sponsor...of its sponsored you need to say it is....
Should have let Molly know what was up. Anyone in that position would be uncomfortable
Everyone needs to calm down about Claire, I thought she was great
So... The skin is still on the squash?
@Geoffrey Alan ok. So peel it the normal way if using regular butternut squash? This salad looks amazing!!!
The skin softens up a lot while baking. I was a bit nervous because I always peel full size butternut squash. But the 898/honeynut and delicatta all have very tender and testy skin
everyone is criticizing claire... like... they’re grown adults, they seem like they get along really well in all the videos they’ve been together in, which explains why they’re so quick to agree with each other ALSO quick reminder that christina’s job doesn’t involve her making videos. in past videos (gourmet makes) christina has been very open with her opinions around claire so i don’t think that’s a big an issue as you guys are making it seem... claire and christina are my favorite pairing so it’s really disappointing to see people projecting weird scenarios onto them. that aside this is one of my favorite making perfect eps so far!
Yeah the projection this episode is really weird. So much is edited out and so many conversations are missing, how on earth can anyone know what either are thinking just based off facial expressions? We dont know these people, their relationships, nor their personalities very well. We see what we see and thats all. Let's not go and assume all kinds of things.
I made the sprouts today for a pre-thanksgiving party and it was SO good! Loved them so much!
Who tf eats Brussel sprouts at Thanksgiving?? The only green vegetables at Thanksgiving should be green bean casserole. You can eat healthy the other 364 days of the year.
Ladies - pep up a bit. That said, I am doing those Brussel sprouts this week.
Thank you both. You gave me great ideas😃
Ok I hadn’t finished the episode when I posted about the balsamic reduction for the Squash salad, but I also do it for my Brussels sprouts which I didn’t realize was coming up next lol
Wow thanks. I also think a Balsamic Reduction would be Amazing.
B-but she really liked the apple cider vinegar 🥺
Its not apple cider vinager. Its an expensive and hard to find agrodolce that is apple cider vinager flavored. That's why they didn't go with it because not everyone can get it or justify the price. 1 bottle is like 15 bucks and no one's going to use it for anything else.
"I'm so glad you said that Claire because I feel the exact same way [but didn't want to say it in case you strangle me]"
